And The Nominees Are...

So it appears I need to stop wasting my money on movies like The Dilemma (awful) and get out and see some good ones.  Of the ten nominees for best picture, I've only seen four.  At the top of my list to see: The King's Speech and True Grit, which lead the pack with twelve and ten Oscar noms, respectively.

Black Swan (check)
The Fighter (check)
Inception  (triple check)
The Kids Are All Right
The King's Speech
127 Hours
The Social Network (check)
Toy Story 3
True Grit
Winter's Bone

Best Actor Nominees-

Now to the awards movies do not want to hear their name called for...The Razzies.  The Golden Raspberry Awards are presented one day before the Academy Awards, recognizing the worst in film.  This year they seem to be out for one movie in particular, Eclipse, which was nominated in every single category it was eligible for.  Hopefully you didn't waste your money on any of these flicks.  I, however, was not so lucky.

Twilight Saga: Eclipse
The Last Airbender
The Bounty Hunter
Sex & The City 2
Vampires Suck

Worst Actress Nominees-

Jennifer Aniston, The Bounty Hunter
